IBR012 FORUFREEZER - Hoodoo + Champo BLP

Spanish badman Forufreezer returns to In Bloom with an EP that reaches melting point faster than Tom Selleck reaching for a mustache comb. IBR012, and like a true super villain all bases are covered.

Buy now from:
Beatport
Trackitdown
Juno Download
or any other online store.

Hoodoo takes us a level deeper with Forufreezer dipping his toes in psy territory. If you took the blue pill, woke up sealed in a pod filled with preserving gel plugged into the matrix with tentacled machines watching over you...... this is what they would be listening to. This is high level psy tech funk with a progressive tip that is strategically minimal enough to let your imagination wander while still forcefully holding your attention, rounding off another package that holds true to In Bloom's promise to bring you the best in current breakbeat music.

Champo BLP is the standard issue electro tipped breaks weapon we have come to expect from the consistently impressive Forufreezer. All boxes are ticked off here. Rock solid drums, relentless bass and body moving percussion laced with brain bending synth work in all the right places. No messing about here, this is a straight up and down dancefloor destroyer.

Feedback:

Tom Clyde:
really heavyweight tunes! love these smashing drums, nice groove and melodics

MartOpetEr:
The Hoodoo track is cool !!

Pale Penguin:
I really like FORUFREEZER sound and this single is no exception! Great stuff all over....will support, play and chart for sure!

Andrea Fisso (Fisso & Spark):
Big release! Will support! Thanks!

Llupa:
Very technoesque is Champo - I think it needs a change in the groove somewhere as is pretty relentless.. Hoodoo has buckets of groove and is a cool slow deep builder - def. my pick of the two - this'll get lots of spins from me :)

Sneaker and the Dryer:
Great tunes on this release. Super clean and punchy production. Full support!

Bl1tz:

It's hard for me to pick just one of the tracks, Hoodoo is a great Psybreaks lesson and champoo BLP has everything a song needs to be a classic

Andy Faze:
I really like Hoodoo in this package. Awesome techy minimal vibe - banging!

IBR011 HOME ALONE - The Journey (Original + Dr. Fish Remix)

Once again In Bloom offers up a package we are proud of IBR011. This time it's an origina The Journey from lable boss Home Alone backed by a remix from Bristolian badman Dr. Fish.

Buy it now from:
Beatport
Trackitdown
Junodownload
or any other online store!

Home Alone, never one to disappoint, offers up another slice of bass heavy, acid drenched tech funk here that will scratch the warehouse raver itch in all of us. All of the signature Home Alone sounds have been ticked off here.. Tight percussion, earth moving drums, ground shaking bass and enough acid it's corrosive to skin. Home Alone hit's the mark again the result is another essential weapon for all ravers.

Dr. Fish, a true rising star of the breaks scene and THE name to watch, once again delivers. Adding his distinct low slung funk vibe, like some kind of deranged colonel sanders, combining the original parts with his weapons grade secret herbs and spices. the end product is a seamless, rolling, tech funk monster that could be considered enough reason for the U.S military industrial complex to invade Bristol.

Some Feedback:

Lee Martin (Dusted Breaks Records):
Both tracks are very good and im very impressed with Dr Fish! Will support the original moist though

Mr Cid (Warped Recordings):
Loving that classic Home Alone acid! The Dr.Fish remix is a killer for sure, will support!

Yes yes man, this is my favourite Home Alone release to date, the drums are spot on and right up my street, i love that it still has that Home Alone sound but this time with some sweet heavy rolling beats with some acid funk. Dr Fish remix is cool but the oriignal is more to my taste :) a proper club banger.

Kwah:
Both tracks please, but the Dr. Fish remix stands out from the 2. Loving his style every time, this one is going to be getting dropped.

Andrea (Fisso & Spark):
Awesome release guys! Full support for In Bloom Recordings! Will play this

Andy Faze:

IBR010 AP3X - Manufactured Reality (Original + Bad Tango Remix)

Here we are, with our 10th release. This time showcasing the talent of New Zealand's ownAp3x. Coming at you with a brooding little tech roller called Manufactured Reality, with support from Bad Tango (UK) who brings us a remix that pairs really well with the original.

Buy it now from:
Beatport
Trackitdonw
Junodownload
or from any other online store.

Hailing from Auckland NZ, Ap3x is well known in his local scene as a DJ that has an uncompromising style. Playing dark and heavy, underground breaks tunes. Over the years he has mellowed out just slightly and is playing more tech/psy oriented sets. This style is showing in his recent production work. His tunes have been rising to impressive heights in the charts, showing that this is one producer to keep a close eye on in the future. This tune has a dark, progressive edge to it. Tempered with subtle synth fills and atmospherics that give the tune a nice bit of space.

On the flip side, Bad Tango has taken the tune and run with it. Adding a bit of squelch and shuffle to the bassline and lacing the tune with more fx and synths to impressive effect. The remix really opens up after the second drop with a wild psychedelic arpeggiated synth line that lifts the tune to a higher level and will leave you with a tough decision on which version to play in your set. My suggestion is to play both.

Feedback:

Mr. Cid (Warped Recordings):
InBlooms best release so far! Loving the Bad Tango vibes along and the Ap3x original ticks all the right boxes for me!

Charlie Kane:
Both mixes are brilliant! will definitely support

IBR009 Bl1tz - Assault (Original + MartOpetEr Remix)

We're 8 releases deep and dropping the 9th in style with a stellar chemical weapon in the form of Assault from spanish badman Bl1tz supported by a futuristic psy remix from French man of the hour MartOpetEr.

Download it from:
Beatport
Trackitdown
Junodownload
or any other online store.

The original is an acid drenched, percussion laced battle weapon ready for deployment. Earth moving drums perfectly compliment the relentless bass and the synth line is every acid fiend's dream. There's so much acid on this, it had to be transported to the mastering studio in a sealed lead case by two trained professionals in hazmat suits.

On the remix MartOpetEr cracks open the protective casing and carefully mixes the original with 1 part Tech and 4 parts Psy. The result is a dark, rolling psychedelic journey with all the signature flare we've come to expect from this true rising star. nothing but the highest level future breaks.

Feedback:

Bad Tango: MartOpetEr remix is PHAT!

Llupa: Such a tune!

Mr Cid: Nice release here, love the acid! Will support for sure.

Pale Penguin: Dope Acidic original by one of the best Spanish producers, the mighty BL1TZ, backed with a killer Psy-breaks remix by MARTOPETER!! Will support chart and play for sure!!

Andrea Fisso (Fisso & Spark): Awesome release! Both tracks are rocking! will support, thanks!

Seffi B: Great sounding tracks. Will give em some airtime when my show is next.

Rumbler Smith (Yellow Finger): Martopeter rolls this one.

Lee Martin (Dusted Breaks): Definitely prefer the original here. Good Work!

Andy Faze: Wicked tracks! Really like both of them. Cool groove on the original and lots of acid. Peters remix is great as well, one of his best. Awesome deep psy grooves!! Full support from me, big release!

Nick Dawe (Big Square Records): Loving Assault, the kinda breaks that I like, tough, techy & sweaty. No over complicated gubbins, just heads down rave. The Martopeter remix bigs things up & chuggs along like an tractor run on LSD. Trippy, fat & devastating without ever being too psy. Nice. Overall a well tasty package. Probably In Bloom's best release to date imo.

Bobalino: Both tracks are very well produced, clean and smooth, really like some of the elements of the original, cool breakdown and some nice acid going off in there

Dr Fish: Really liking this package. Quality original from Bl1tz. Loving the acid, floaty pads and percussion. A really interesting and dark track. Love it. Martopeter Remix is proper awesome. Banging Psybreaks. Really good quality production. Will be supportign both of these so thanks very much!

Tom Clyde: Original mix is undoubtedly acid dancefloor banger!

Farace: Both of these are rocking! Loving the pack, cheers! Support!

Kwah: Both tracks are killer, Peters remix is mind blowing!

The original is a full speed,  twisted psy breaks workout with earth moving drums and precise synths that's set to destroy the late crowd. Picture a team of highly trained scientist's in hazmat suit's and yellow hard hats running from a nuclear power plant in full meltdown......this is the soundtrack.

Matskie takes the rein's for the remix and the result is another top quality, bass heavy monster with all the energy of the original laid over no-nonsense, driving 4/4 drums adding a futuristic vibe that in a glimpse of when the machines take control. Add this one to your peak time arsenal.

IBR007 Forufreezer - Floating Balloon (Original + Kwah and Karl Sav Remixes)

Southern Spanish producer and DJ Forufreezer makes his In Bloom debut in style withFloating Balloon,  a retro tipped, electro breaks monster backed by 2 vastly different remixes this time making this our most diverse package so far. This one is guaranteed to please dancefloors and dj's alike.

Download it now from BEATPORTTRACKITDOWNJUNODOWNLOAD (or any other online music stores).

Forufreezer brings the heat on the original with an upfront, high energy dancefloor weapon. The retro styled synths and pitched vocal are an obvious tip of the hat to the fun, party vibe of new school breaks from days gone by and contrast's perfectly with the no nonsense, nosebleed bassline. This one will find a home in the bag of anyone that came to party.

Hot on the heels of his competition winning remix of Neurodriver and Hedflux's Energy Vibration, Kwah is back at it. Dropping science with a pure psy breaks workout with bass tighter than Skrillex's skinny jeans and brain bending 'question and answer' synth work proving again that this is a name to watch in 2012.

Finishing off the release, Australian breakbeat stalwart Karl Sav strips back the original and rebuilds it into a glitched out progressive tech roller that sounds like a martini at sunset. Infused with Karl's ever present complex drum programming and air tight production, this one is set to be another In Bloom classic.

Feedback:

Karl Sav:
Karl Sav remix is the best remix ever

Hedflux:
Loving the kwah remix - really full on, lots of clever stuff, his tunes just get better and better! Also really digging the Karlsav mix, again really clever progressive sound, definitely on more of a chilled tip, I could  see this going down well in one of my chill sets.

Quality remixes here, especially loving Karl's in an understated way. Thumbs up

Pale Penguin:

IBR006 Home Alone - Sick In Paris (Original + Yreane Remix)

We're back with number 6 and in keeping with the*In Bloom Recordings*
ethos, it's aimed right at the dancefloor.

Download the release on:
or any other online store.

*Home Alone* is back at it, this time with the sound track to the last
leg of the tour de france, *Sick In Paris*. A twisted, techno influenced
groove with endless energy and drum programming that would make Phil
Collin's proud. A breakdown just happy enough to keep you from throwing
in the towel holds out until the drop kicks it up a gear and reminds you
this is NOT a team sport. *Home Alone* hits the mark again, this time
replacing the 'acid' vibe with pure, driving energy.

Russian prodigy *Yreane* takes it deep with his first release for *In
Bloom* encompassing the tech vibe of the original while dosing up on a
shot of his patented dark funk. The complimentary rolling bass and a
blip line that resembles a morse code transmission with extra
terrestrial life covers bases for both schools of breaks resulting in
yet another solid breaks package to keep even the most ardent breaks fan
happy.

Feedback:

Tom Clyde
Cheers, guys! lovely tunes ;) Yreane remix is more dancefloor oriented

Lee Martin (Dusted Breaks)
Home Alone is on fire at the moment!! Great release, but original is king!!

Duane Barry (DSUK)
Gorgeous synth work on the original and really like that bassline! Yreane's remix is mental as expected :D

Big Nick D (Big Square Records)
A bit of a departure from the usual Home Alone stuff, bit more minimal but still beefy where it counts. A real psy trance vibe to this release, I can see the hippys loving this one!
Made for LSD in the desert. maybe is should a been called Sick At Burningman? Haha!
Yreane breaks-es things up here with a low slung groover of a remix. deep n' sexy. This is my fave mix of the release & probably the best thing I've heard from Yreane, has that old Sinister vibe to it, nom nom, I love that shit! Big ups In Bloom. :-)

Llupa
cool grooves and stomp in the original, Yreane takes the groove a little dirtier.. both are sweet, support here :)

Pale Penguin (VIM Records / Diablo Loco)
